When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Teodosio Stanislao sped through Italia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Romo. Ciriaco Txatxu took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Mercurio. Augusto Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Concepcion del Uruguay FC defense, Ciriaco Txatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Mercurio. The Concepcion del Uruguay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Concepcion del Uruguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ruisko came free, but Augusto Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Txatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Mercurio. In the 75th match minute, Concepcion del Uruguay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Txatxus short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Augusto Mercurio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gregorio Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Teodosio Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Txatxu. In the 85th minute, Aureliano Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Ciriaco Txatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Mercurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Eugenio Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ciriaco Txatxu in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Mercurio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Augusto Mercurio made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ciriaco Txatxu sent off a good shot on target. Italia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
