Sandu Cârlan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Jhon Zeevenhoven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Nirosxn 08 the free kick. The supporters of AFC Nirosxn 08 booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jhon Zeevenhoven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Driel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Cârlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fred Driel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Cârlan in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, AFC Nirosxn 08's Sandu Cârlan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Driel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Ghercioiu came free, but Fred Driel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Driel came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Nirosxn 08's Romeo Elenescu. But to his dismay, Romeo Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Elenescu in the 15th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Fred Driel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.C. Potentia's Fred Driel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Cârlan in the 16th minute of play. Romeo Elenescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Ivan Baniu had to leave the field with a concussion. After 22 minutes, Koen Beishuizen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Potentia and the AFC Nirosxn 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. AFC Nirosxn 08's Petre Moisil was substituted for Ivan Baniu. Koen Beishuizen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Costel Saşca kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Co Reinhard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Costel Saşca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Bogătean hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Romeo Elenescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fred Driel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Cârlan in the 38th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Fred Driel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Nirosxn 08's Alex Ghercioiu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The long shot by Ralph van der Stoel in the 43rd minute really tested Alex Corbuț's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ilie Maleș hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
After having played for 52 minutes, Co Reinhard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Co Reinhard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.C. Potentia's Fred Driel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Elenescu in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Nirosxn 08's Costel Saşca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fred Driel. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. Alex Corbuț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meindert Jongsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Elenescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Driel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, AFC Nirosxn 08's Sandu Cârlan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fred Driel. Fred Driel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Fred Driel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandu Cârlan went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when AFC Nirosxn 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Cârlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Romeo Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Driel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Cârlan in the 84th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Fred Driel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Costel Saşca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Fred Driel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fred Driel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Cârlan in the 91st minute of play. Petre Moisil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fred Driel made a huge save. Fred Driel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petre Moisil went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. AFC Nirosxn 08 played a much better game than S.C. Potentia and deserved their victory. The S.C. Potentia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
