Paco Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Martinsson in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 7th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Frederic Gschwendtner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Pelé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederic Gschwendtner having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Pelé came free, but Frederic Gschwendtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederic Gschwendtner was a little too slow when Andrézinho Pelé got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Frederic Gschwendtner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukas Martinsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paco Zamora having to make a save. Frederic Gschwendtner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Gaztea in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Andrézinho Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederic Gschwendtner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Aquilino Oihan threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZigZag Athletic's Chan Clas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aquilino Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Andrézinho Pelé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Pelé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Lázaro Quico replaced Rogelio Otsando. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ćiro Immobile made a kick off. Niles Moran might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederic Gschwendtner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niles Moran ran back to his position shaking his head. If Lukas Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Niles Moran managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Chubut's supporters rose to their feet, but Niles Moran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederic Gschwendtner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ZigZag Athletic's Calle Bergfelt was substituted for Ćiro Immobile. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niles Moran in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederic Gschwendtner saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. Paco Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Bergfelt's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RB Chubut had won after a very even match.
