In the 2nd match minute, Jofurs Drängar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Giovanni van Bronckhorst sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Lundqvist skillfully saved the ball. Jofurs Drängar's Ivar Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm Meyer in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, one of Jofurs Drängar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jofurs Drängar. Giovanni van Bronckhorst placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 10 minutes into the game, Harm Meyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivar Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Jofurs Drängar getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dag Åkesson hit a great ball. When Harm Meyer came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harm Meyer couldn't finish the play. Pieter Beuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Finsberg in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Harm Meyer put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ivar Lundqvist. Toni Broekema's late challenge caught a Jofurs Drängar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Broekema helped the player get up and apologised. Toni Broekema kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jofurs Drängar's zone, Harm Meyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Lundqvist came out of the goal and Harm Meyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elliott Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harm Meyer in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Lundqvist saved Jofurs Drängar from getting behind. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bruno Boezeman hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Herbert Finsberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Pieter Beuk. Pieter Beuk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Pieter Beuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Harm Meyer made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Lundqvist. Jofurs Drängar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Herbert Finsberg succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. The supporters of Jofurs Drängar booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Boezeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harm Meyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Joost Blom took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Lundqvist. Ivar Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Ivar Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harm Meyer's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute Bruno Boezeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Tony Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jofurs Drängar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Julias Rascals Apeldoorn the free kick. After 81 played minutes Jofurs Drängar got a freekick which was hit by Tony Lange. 83 minutes into the game, one of Jofurs Drängar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Julias Rascals Apeldoorn a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jofurs Drängar's Ivar Lundqvist. 2-6. In the 88th minute, Ove Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harm Meyer in the 89th minute. Joost Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harm Meyer got free with Ivar Lundqvist in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gottfrid Olsson hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
