In the 6th minute Szczepan Gleba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Insfrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jokers's Piotr Domaradzki got a free kick in the 13th minute. Werner Uhl might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wit Skirzynski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Werner Uhl ran back to his position shaking his head. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gazi Uskan in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Jajeczko in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Insfrán saved EL LOBO DE MIAMI from getting behind. After 34 played minutes EL LOBO DE MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Werner Uhl. Nelson Insfrán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Gleba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Gleba came free, but Nelson Insfrán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Skirzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Singer in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Urbina in the 46th minute of play forced Jokers's goalkeeper Wit Skirzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Wally Urbina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Skirzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Hieronim Jajeczko made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jokers's Lucjan Rutkowski got a free kick in the 55th minute. Wit Skirzynski came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Wally Urbina. But to his dismay, Wally Urbina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Hieronim Jajeczko scored to the left of an out of position Nelson Insfrán, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Jokers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Naumowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Nelson Insfrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Jajeczko in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Jokers's Teobald Percha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Wally Urbina got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Werner Uhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Werner Uhl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Skirzynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wit Skirzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Werner Uhl, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Jokers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jokers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
