An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Madaleno in the 13th minute of play forced EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Nelson Insfrán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Hipolito Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Insfrán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wally Urbina struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bruno Nisio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL LOBO DE MIAMI. In the 18th minute, Pastor Txeru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Insfrán was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bruno Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Urbina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Insfrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Txeru in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Madaleno in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Insfrán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes Funebrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ongile. Nelson Insfrán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Madaleno's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The Funebrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Nisio should have stopped the shot. Funebrero FC's Bruno Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wally Urbina in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. Wally Urbina scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Nisio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Uhl came free, but Bruno Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Wally Urbina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Nisio. Funebrero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wally Urbina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Hipolito Madalenos short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Nelson Insfrán to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wally Urbina scored 5-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Nisio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Rob Singer made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Nisio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Werner Uhl sped through Funebrero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Nisio.
