The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Campana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Urtsin having to make a save. In the 5th minute of the game Casimiro Jenaro made a throw-in which Gonzalo Oliverio played forward. After 10 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Hajs. In the 12th minute, Gonzalo Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Urtsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Degas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 18 minutes, Edgar Degas made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ♦Diabetes♦'s Santiago Urtsin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Leo Campana came free, but Santiago Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS LEW Chorzów were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after ♦Diabetes♦'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dariusz Misiewicz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dariusz Misiewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santiago Urtsin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leo Campana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Urtsin having to make a save. In the 29th minute Leo Campana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KS LEW Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when KS LEW Chorzów's Edgar Degas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santiago Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Muusik, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Leo Campana came free, but Santiago Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Urtsin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Degas went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Leo Campanas short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Santiago Urtsin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 59 minutes, Leo Campana made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. ♦Diabetes♦'s Santiago Urtsin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Albino Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♦Diabetes♦'s protests and gave Albino Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Albino Fliz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, KS LEW Chorzów's Dariusz Misiewicz tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Gervasio Mattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Campana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Urtsin having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper Santiago Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. With a little luck, ♦Diabetes♦'s Santiago Urtsin got control of the ball when Leo Campana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Urtsin was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Edgar Degas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Degas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 76 minutes in the game, Edgar Degas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Santiago Urtsin having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Leo Campana took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Santiago Urtsin to make any attempt to save it. Leo Campana in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Urtsin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgar Degas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Urtsin. Santiago Urtsin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 96th minute Roland Muusik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
