Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Matei Onaca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Puerto de Sagunto CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Zaplana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Onaca in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th play minute Valentin Lemnaru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Garaona Camino. 1-0. After 10 minutes, Horaţiu Macamete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stiinta-Univ. and the Puerto de Sagunto CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Horaţiu Macamete hit a great ball. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula in the 11th minute of play. Tito Marrero hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes of play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Valentin Lemnaru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garaona Camino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Valentin Lemnaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garaona Camino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Puerto de Sagunto CF from getting a goal against them. Valentin Lemnaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Garaona Camino could save by the left post. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesforo De Paula in the 38th minute of the match. Matei Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Garaona Camino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Valentin Lemnaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Garaona Camino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matei Onaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaona Camino having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bogdan Lobonț made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Telesforo De Paula sent off a good shot on target. When Telesforo De Paula came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Puerto de Sagunto CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telesforo De Paula couldn't finish the play. Garaona Camino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Lemnaru in the 62nd minute of play. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lemnaru in the 63rd minute of play. Valentin Lemnaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Telesforo De Paula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Lemnaru came free, but Garaona Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garaona Camino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Onaca in the 76th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Maximiano Caballero sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Macamete came free, but Garaona Camino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Matei Onaca. Mircea Creangă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Stiinta-Univ. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
