Emanuel Blixts short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Aske Mende to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 15 minutes into the game, Eilif Hofsø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATOWN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pauliström the free kick. After 15 played minutes ATOWN got a freekick which was hit by Eilif Hofsø. Thor Abrahamsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aske Mende came out and tried to block the shot, but Thor Abrahamsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Aske Mende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Näver in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Alf Hansson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ATOWN's Aske Mende. Aske Mende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Godholm came free, but Aske Mende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pauliström booed when ATOWN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Agerbirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pauliström's Henry Näver got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bøje Fergusen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. ATOWN's Aske Mende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Godholm in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Thor Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ATOWN defense, Henry Näver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aske Mende. The ATOWN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aske Mende should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Bernt Godholm notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of ATOWN's Aske Mende. Aske Mende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ATOWN's Aske Mende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Näver in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Pauliström's Bernt Godholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 88th minute, Alf Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1.
