The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mårten Abrahamsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hong Xing Yang hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Westerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagyváradi AC. In the 93rd minute, Claudio Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nagyváradi AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
