In the 11th minute Tiburcio Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saint Sophia's Mané de Queiroz pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Hernando during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Defensores de Fasano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Hernando to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Saint Sophia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Diego Marinkovic hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Hernando in the 19th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Manos Manolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pinki Floyd hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, Defensores de Fasano's Tiburcio Peruxu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Manolas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Koldobika made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Marinkovic in the 26th minute. Manos Manolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian George in the 28th minute of play. Saint Sophia's Manos Manolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Machado in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Tiburcio Peruxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Manolas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Manos Manolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Machado in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Machado came free, but Manos Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Peruxu came free, but Manos Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Peruxu got free with Manos Manolas in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiburcio Peruxu scored 1-5 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Manolas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Defensores de Fasano's Fabian George ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manos Manolas. Manos Manolas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. In the 73rd play minute Fabian George came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manos Manolas. 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Peruxu in the 78th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Manos Manolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Sophia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Gabriel Agüero scored to the left of an out of position Manos Manolas, making the score, 1-8. Manos Manolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian George in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Peruxu came free, but Manos Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Manos Manolas got control of the ball when Tiburcio Peruxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores de Fasano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
