The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Agüero in the 3rd minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Dario Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Koldobika was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Kakeros FC's Jorge Montez got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to Defensores de Fasano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gabriel Agüero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Montez in the 14th minute of play forced Defensores de Fasano's goalkeeper Aristides Koldobika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Frederico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Machado in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Dario Frederico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Peruxu. Aristides Koldobika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Agüero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Frederico having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Peruxu came free, but Dario Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Jorge Montez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aristides Koldobika was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Alvaro Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Domingo Guillen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Frederico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Jorge Montez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aristides Koldobika was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Montez was the one to do the kick off. Jorge Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Koldobika made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jorge Montez sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian George in the 54th minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Dario Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's Jorge Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Koldobika narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kakeros FC's Gerardo Matai got a free kick in the 57th minute. Tiburcio Peruxu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Frederico. Dario Frederico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Kakeros FC booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian George didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gerardo Matai fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kakeros FC's protests and gave Gerardo Matai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Kakeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Matai to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th match minute, Defensores de Fasano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Hernando to maneuver through the defense. Kakeros FC's attentive Arnoldo Prejun managed to snatch the ball when Leonides Hernando made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 70th minute Jorge Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Agüero in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Tiburcio Peruxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Fasano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hugo Sayveon hit a great ball. Jorge Montez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dario Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Peruxu in the 89th minute of the match.
