Anıl Ege Devlet hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Samsunspor defense, Karl Hennig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yakup Kadri Tekin. The Samsunspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yakup Kadri Tekin should have stopped the shot. Edward Adolph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benni Mühsam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakup Kadri Tekin having to interfere. If Benni Mühsam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Samsunspor's Yakup Kadri Tekin got control of the ball when Benni Mühsam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yakup Kadri Tekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Hennig in the 19th minute of play. Joakim Tilmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yakup Kadri Tekin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Green Aaper Forestibexes's Joakim Tilmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benni Mühsam got free with Yakup Kadri Tekin in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samsunspor's Yakup Kadri Tekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Samsunspor from getting a goal against them. Gert Pöttgen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yakup Kadri Tekin having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Yakup Kadri Tekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benni Mühsam. With a little luck, Samsunspor's Yakup Kadri Tekin got control of the ball when Benni Mühsam tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute Benni Mühsam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakup Kadri Tekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benni Mühsam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yakup Kadri Tekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Joakim Tilmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakup Kadri Tekin came out of the goal and Joakim Tilmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Green Aaper Forestibexes had played much better football throughout.
