Leopoldo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Mota struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ceferino Austin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dal 3ello. Ceferino Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Tepedino was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Leopoldo Fernanco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leopoldo Fernanco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Antonio Madeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celta de Virgos's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Madeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Fernanco's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The Celta de Virgos fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Celta de Virgos's Leopoldo Fernanco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ismael Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Fernanco in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Leopoldo Fernanco made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Tepedino. Dal 3ello's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Celta de Virgos's Roque Silviano was substituted for Cosme Montrell. Celta de Virgos's Fernan Moise was substituted for Arnoldo Poz. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Arnoldo Florian replaced Leopoldo Fernanco. 65 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Florian notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Dal 3ello's Ismael Tepedino. Ismael Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnoldo Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Dal 3ello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beli Dal Bello to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Arnoldo Florian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celta de Virgos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Rodrigo Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Sampaio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Arnoldo Florian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dal 3ello's Ismael Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arnoldo Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Florian in the 80th minute of play forced Dal 3ello's goalkeeper Ismael Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Florian in the 87th minute of play forced Dal 3ello's goalkeeper Ismael Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Florian might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Florian ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Arnoldo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Florian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Tepedino was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When Rodrigo Sampaio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Dal 3ello booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Valadares in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 97 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Moise. Celta de Virgos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
