In the 12th minute, Pablo Neruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vinos La Rocca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caupolicán Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luizinho Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Neruda went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. ARAUCARIA FC's Guilherme Quintal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anselmo Arata in the 19 minute of the game. Percival Saldanha hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Luizinho Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Neruda in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Pablo Neruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Peres. ARAUCARIA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Neruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Héctor David Garachena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Peres having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Neruda in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARAUCARIA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessandro Prenafeta was slow to take the kick. During this time Lautaro L.P.'s players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Pablo Neruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho Peres. Luizinho Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Prenafeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Neruda came free, but Luizinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Caupolicán Rufo in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ARAUCARIA FC's Gustavo Couto. In the 69th minute, Pablo Neruda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Peres. The goal made the score 0-10. Caupolicán Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Vinos La Rocca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percival Saldanha hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Pablo Neruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Peres having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pablo Neruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luizinho Peres was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Neruda came free, but Luizinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Neruda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Luizinho Peres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Lautaro L.P. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ARAUCARIA FC throughout the match.
