Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcin Najman started the match with the kick off. Marcin Najman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Michel van der Bij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Ba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Joppe Hvenegaard came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel van der Bij didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitri Payet went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ivon Gasca took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel van der Bij. Michel van der Bij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Talento Futebol clube's Gualter Proença got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Errapel Aguiluz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel van der Bij skillfully saved the ball. Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baba Ba in the 24th minute of the match. The Wrexham fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Wrexham's Dimitri Payet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 30 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Payet came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Talento Futebol clube getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lauro Quirino hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Talento Futebol clube defense, Joppe Hvenegaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel van der Bij. The Talento Futebol clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel van der Bij should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Wrexham booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Najman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errapel Aguiluz's late challenge caught a Talento Futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Errapel Aguiluz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Talento Futebol clube booed when Wrexham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errapel Aguiluz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tadzio Buruaga fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wrexham's protests and gave Tadzio Buruaga a yellow card for diving instead. Júnior Zago kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Errapel Aguiluz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel van der Bij showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baba Ba to strike the kick off in the second half. Joppe Hvenegaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel van der Bij. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joppe Hvenegaard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Ivon Gasca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel van der Bij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baba Ba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Michel van der Bij made a huge save. Baba Ba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel van der Bij having to interfere. Michel van der Bij came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Wrexham's Joppe Hvenegaard. But to his dismay, Joppe Hvenegaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 71st match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Simões to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivon Gasca in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel van der Bij saved Talento Futebol clube from getting behind. Michel van der Bij made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Dimitri Payet sent off a good shot on target. Marcin Najman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Baba Ba took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Michel van der Bij to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 91 minutes, Joppe Hvenegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wrexham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joppe Hvenegaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wrexham's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
