Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Donatelli in the 10th minute of play. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Band Of Brothers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariusz Jop took the corner. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Mariusz Jop was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torgny Mellin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Duncan Donatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Wit Winnicki in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Torgny Mellin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Winnicki in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duncan Donatelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Winnicki in the 75th minute of play forced Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper Torgny Mellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgny Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Rydzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Dante Rafe got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GIOVANNI DZIADZIA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Band Of Brothers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
