German Gil scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torgny Mellin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gaston Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Absolut Rasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Gotzon couldn't finish the play. If Geronimo Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torgny Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Gil in the 15th minute of play. Leopoldo Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Band Of Brothers's zone, Gaston Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Mellin came out of the goal and Gaston Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Gil in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Absolut Rasta FC's German Gil made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torgny Mellin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Gaston Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Leopoldo Pabla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Band Of Brothers's Torgny Mellin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes Absolut Rasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Gonchan. In the 32nd minute, Søren Stålnacke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Absolut Rasta FC's Fabian Oto didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Gil in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torgny Mellin saved Band Of Brothers from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, Band Of Brothers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, German Gil made a precise shot to the right of Torgny Mellin. Band Of Brothers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Osvaldo Pacorro's late challenge caught a Band Of Brothers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Pacorro helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Gil was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Pabla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Mellin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, German Gil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Band Of Brothers's Torgny Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Gil in the 59th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Falcon. German Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Band Of Brothers's Torgny Mellin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Band Of Brothers from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Band Of Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Martino came free, but Torgny Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Absolut Rasta FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Band Of Brothers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rosendo Felipillo took the corner. In the 80th minute German Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Gil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torgny Mellin came out and tried to block the shot, but German Gil slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 82nd minute. Fabian Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Ciccarelli in the 91st minute of the match. Gaston Gotzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Torgny Mellin made a huge save. The Absolut Rasta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Absolut Rasta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
