The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendan Menguy got free with Pedro Faron in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elegance Dijon were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Bancruz F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brendan Menguy took the corner. In the 12th minute, Jordan Lachenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lamine Valente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Faron was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when Elegance Dijon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Gaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Cirilo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bancruz F.C's Pedro Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Valente in the 46th minute of play. Brendan Menguy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamine Valente was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Bancruz F.C defense, Lamine Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Faron. The Bancruz F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Faron should have stopped the shot. Bancruz F.C were furious when Eustaquio Nicholas was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Menguy in the 63rd minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Pedro Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Rodas. In the 67th minute Lamine Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Lachenal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pedro Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Hugo Châtelin hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, Bancruz F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Barea to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Menguy, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 86th match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Gaillet to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Humberto Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Humberto Rodas got a free kick in the 89th minute. Elegance Dijon's Brendan Menguy got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Severino Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bancruz F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Iraunkor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Menguy, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bancruz F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Elegance Dijon.
