Lawrence Schoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tata Rușanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gianluca Simmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Quentin in the 24th minute of the match. When Giuliano Baumann fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1. FC Union Weberei's protests and gave Giuliano Baumann a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Giuliano Baumann got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gianluca Simmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The wind increased when Giuliano Baumann made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1. FC Union Weberei's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betão Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time Cable a Tierra's players had a chance to rest. Cable a Tierra's Saul Silvanito got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, 1. FC Union Weberei's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Silvanito came free, but Gianluca Simmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Saul Silvanito made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. 1. FC Union Weberei's Gianluca Simmen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gianluca Simmen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gianluca Simmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Silvanito in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner. Betão Prestes went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute, Cable a Tierra's Urbano Quentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gianluca Simmen. Gianluca Simmen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After 81 played minutes 1. FC Union Weberei got a freekick which was hit by Giuliano Baumann. In the 82nd minute Saul Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Simmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Simmen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Saul Silvanito sent off a good shot on target. Casimir Wickihalter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tata Rușanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Hertzog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1. FC Union Weberei's Gianluca Simmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Union Weberei from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Lawrence Schoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Casimir Wickihalter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Saul Silvanito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluca Simmen was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cable a Tierra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
