The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Lilja had several of the DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Shaheen Al Ali as he didn't even see the shot coming. 8 minutes into the match, Fabian Lilja notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali. Shaheen Al Ali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghanim Boland to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alfons Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segelbut IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaheen Al Ali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morad Al Sohali in the 15th minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Philip Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaheen Al Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Mark Lennartsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shaheen Al Ali. The goal made the score 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Fabian Lilja could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Shaheen Al Ali however easily saved by the left post. Shaheen Al Ali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rasmus Strömberg's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save DUBAI Palm Jumeirah from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Fabian Lilja could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Shaheen Al Ali however easily saved by the left post. Ghanim Boland charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghanim Boland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes DUBAI Palm Jumeirah got a freekick which was hit by Ghanim Boland. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Strömberg got free with Shaheen Al Ali in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Mark Lennartsson rounded DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Strömberg in the 42nd minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghanim Boland to maneuver through the defense. In the 44thth minute of the game Rasmus Strömberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shaheen Al Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Lilja went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Öberg in the 54th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaheen Al Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Strömberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Mikael Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Åkesson in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Segelbut IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes of play, Segelbut IF's Fabian Lilja made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shaheen Al Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Lilja in the 68th minute of play. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Jaffer Al Abdullah was substituted for Esmael Al Arbash. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Sobah Bahbhani was substituted for Morad Al Sohali. Shaheen Al Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaheen Al Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Åkesson in the 78th minute of play. Shaheen Al Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Rasmus Strömberg made a precise shot to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Lennartsson in the 88th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Shaheen Al Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Strömberg in the 90th minute of play. Shaheen Al Ali came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Segelbut IF's Christian Springfält. But to his dismay, Christian Springfält quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Segelbut IF had played much better football throughout.
