FC Karamba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Bruno Lacorte scored to the left of an out of position Kuno Heiberg, making the score, 1-1. After 40 minutes, Fernando Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundens BK and the FC Karamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einaras Kėbla in the 42nd minute of play. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Aspengren in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukas Aspengren made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lukas Aspengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kuno Heiberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sundens BK's Fernando Borges got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Fernando Borges off the ground. In the 59th minute, Fernando Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sundens BK! Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Audrius Butkevičius in the 96th minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sundens BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
