An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Abersell in the 11th minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Bernt Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Edgar Abersell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernt Kinnman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mugiwara FC's Bernt Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Abersell in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Abersell in the 21st minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Bernt Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugiwara FC's Bernt Kinnman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Viklund in the 24th minute of play. Bernt Kinnman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Abersell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mugiwara FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rikard Runeberg hit a great ball. Mellbystrand IK were furious when Björn Ekström was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 31 minutes into the game, one of Mellbystrand IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joseph Söderberg had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Tom Löfskog's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rikard Runeberg during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rikard Runeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gorka Vialpando hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Mellbystrand IK's Eddie Viklund got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Eddie Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Kinnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Viklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mugiwara FC's Bo-Erik Sjö got a free kick in the 54th minute. Eddie Viklund struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bernt Kinnman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand IK. When Joey Veerman fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mugiwara FC's protests and gave Joey Veerman a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Mugiwara FC got a freekick which was hit by Joey Veerman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Viklund in the 65th minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Bernt Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Eddie Viklund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernt Kinnman. The goal made the score 0-2. Rikard Runeberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Eddie Viklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernt Kinnman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bernt Kinnman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Viklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Kinnman made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Eddie Viklund sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mugiwara FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play.
