When Eddie Viklund came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mellbystrand IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Viklund couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute 邓康军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Mellbystrand IK got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius I. 韩挺岚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Abersell in the 23rd minute of play. Herbert Igelström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Abersell in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. After a defensive mix-up in 【№1】湖南自由联队's zone, Herbert Igelström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 韩挺岚 came out of the goal and Herbert Igelström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Mellbystrand IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liang 诸葛亮 to strike the kick off in the second half. Tom Riddle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Edgar Abersell notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of 【№1】湖南自由联队's 韩挺岚. 韩挺岚 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mellbystrand IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 秦桑正 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 78th minute, Edgar Abersell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 韩挺岚. The goal made the score 1-5. The shot was stopped by 韩挺岚 but with some difficulty. If Edgar Abersell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mellbystrand IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
