Alexander Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 12 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Browall came free, but Romulo Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Albano Eguerdi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alexander Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK defense, Eustacio Mitxaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Dahlbom. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Dahlbom should have stopped the shot. Alexander Dahlbom came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Eustacio Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Eustacio Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Mitxaut in the 41st minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Alexander Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Browall, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Araoz came free, but Alexander Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Almkvist was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Mitxaut got free with Alexander Dahlbom in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Eustacio Mitxaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Alexander Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Alexander Dahlbom got control of the ball when Eustacio Mitxaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boca Juniors's Eustacio Mitxaut was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eustacio Mitxauts short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Alexander Dahlbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albano Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alexander Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Eustacio Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Mitxaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Mitxaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 89 in the game by Eustacio Mitxaut from a close distance when the talented Alexander Dahlbom managed to make a qualified save. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's players were relieved. Eustacio Mitxaut took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Dahlbom. Alexander Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Alexander Dahlbom threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustacio Mitxaut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
