Antonio Enol hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolek Škarpa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romulo Rameriz. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Justino Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Grucza having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Borczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Skay Škarpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Rameriz came out of the goal and Skay Škarpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Skarpa Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Borczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Skarpa Ełk getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Skay Škarpa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Mitxaut in the 23rd minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Biskupiak kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Froylan in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Mitxaut was the one to do the kick off. Waldemar Puszynski's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Puszynski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Skarpa Ełk's Waldemar Puszynski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jedrzej Grucza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Mitxaut in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. Skarpa Ełk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Santio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Boca Juniors's corner Feliberto Santio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jedrzej Grucza quite easily take care of the ball. Romulo Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Škarpa in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Jedrzej Grucza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Mitxaut. Romulo Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Škarpa in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Timoteo Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Barnaba Weyna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Rameriz skillfully saved the ball. Wladyslaw Korytkowski's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
