The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wladyslaw Kopacz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Grodzka getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wladyslaw Kopacz hit a great ball. Ruperto Abad hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Chris Falcon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 14 minutes, Aureliusz Treppa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Grodzka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Treppa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darren Teisseire kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Falcon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre Dole in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincent Drab saved FC Grodzka from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Wladyslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moussa Queffelec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Duda hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Pryputnicki hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Madjid Pauly sped through FC Grodzka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wincent Drab. The FC Grodzka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Scaloneta were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Madjid Pauly was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyprian Barowicz during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Grodzka getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cyprian Barowicz hit a great ball. If Aureliusz Treppa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, FC Grodzka's goalkeeper Wincent Drab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Dole. Darren Teisseire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wincent Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, La Scaloneta's Wincent Drab threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Madjid Pauly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Moussa Queffelec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Kopacz in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Pauly. Pierre Dole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wincent Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moussa Queffelec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugeniusz Pryputnicki's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Madjid Pauly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moussa Queffelec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Treppa in the 88th minute of play. Moussa Queffelec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Igor Brébant fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Scaloneta's protests and gave Igor Brébant a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Igor Brébant hit a great ball. Cyprian Barowicz got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Cyprian Barowicz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Scaloneta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
