Ian De Maesschalck hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Binjamin Provoost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milcho Zhalov. 21 minutes into the game, Café DE PLOEG's Alfred Van der Veken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Pushkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Café DE PLOEG defense, Kuncho Alichkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Binjamin Provoost. The Café DE PLOEG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Binjamin Provoost should have stopped the shot. Alfred Van der Veken kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobi Palpurin got free with Binjamin Provoost in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Maritza defense, Louis Vischkens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Pushkov. The Maritza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Pushkov should have stopped the shot. Café DE PLOEG's Charles Teuma Castelletti got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Veliko Lanzhev. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Teuma Castelletti was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Café DE PLOEG's Charles Teuma Castelletti fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Radul Prokopiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuncho Alichkov's late challenge caught a Café DE PLOEG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuncho Alichkov helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Kuncho Alichkov. Vladimir Pushkov made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Michael Wollans sent off a good shot on target. If Alfred Van der Veken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milcho Zhalov kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Louis Vischkens scored 1-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimir Pushkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Maritza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Café DE PLOEG were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
