Cyprian Mitus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ben Oude Kamphuis hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Navarro Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Navarro Escalona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyprian Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjors Hoekstra in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes in the game, Montrel Chamorro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mario Klompe having to interfere. In the 24th minute Taurino Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Inguma Espejo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sjors Hoekstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cyprian Mitus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Resistencia Tayrona FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Salbatore Yunibarbia hit a great ball. When Taurino Hernaiz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Resistencia Tayrona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taurino Hernaiz couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refugio Izaga to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjors Hoekstra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taurino Hernaiz in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. Taurino Hernaiz took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Klompe. Mario Klompe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 58 minutes, Navarro Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Navarro Escalona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Chiel Brinke. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ospetsu Villagarcia was substituted for Zernin Losa. In the 67th minute, Inguma Espejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Inguma Espejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Chiel Brinke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Gervasio Buenahora replaced Taurino Hernaiz. Bortzaioriz Cervantes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Buenahora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Inguma Espejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Klompe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus got control of the ball when Jan ter Averst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Navarro Escalona struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mario Klompe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia Tayrona FC. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inguma Espejo in the 90th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Sjors Hoekstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sjors Hoekstra came free, but Cyprian Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
