The supporters of Guanacos booed when C. S. D. Pueyrredón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pueyrredón's corner Fidel Gregory fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Frutos quite easily take care of the ball. Vinicio Esdras lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Silvio Chinto got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Victorino Rio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Carlomagno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

In the 59th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Brais to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Rio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Rio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Victorino Rio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Nikola in the 62nd minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. S. D. Pueyrredón were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Guanacos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albino Oalo took the corner. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Claudio Inguma was substituted for Fidel Gregory. In the 70thth minute of the game Guido Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guanacos's Celso Frutos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Chinto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Guido Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Celso Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Peruxu made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Godofredo Reno. Celso Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Guido Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for C. S. D. Pueyrredón. Guido Casado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celso Frutos. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Mauro Peruxu got a free kick in the 97th minute.
