After some careless play in the Palmeiras defense, Luiz Gustavo Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pegoraro Da Messina. The Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pegoraro Da Messina should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Fábio de Souza notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Compugraf's Silas Prata. Silas Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Bernt Jønsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silas Prata was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Bernt Jønsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Compugraf's Silas Prata. Silas Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silas Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pegoraro Da Messina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Luiz Gustavo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pegoraro Da Messina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernt Jønsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Palmeiras were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernt Jønsson to make the kick off. Compugraf were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony de Almeida took the corner. Luiz Gustavo Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pegoraro Da Messina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Pegoraro Da Messina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Sena in the 68th minute of play. Silas Prata made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Giuliano De Paul sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes, Bernt Jønsson made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Compugraf's Silas Prata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Giuliano De Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Donato got free with Silas Prata in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Wesley Fantini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 80 minutes of play, Compugraf's Luiz Gustavo Sena made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pegoraro Da Messina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silas Prata was a little too slow when Wesley Fantini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-7. Silas Prata came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato. But to his dismay, Leonardo Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-8. Moisés Donato got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wesley Fantini. 94 minutes into the match, Wesley Fantini notched a goal, 2-9, to the right of Compugraf's Silas Prata. Silas Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
