With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Rafinha Lara got control of the ball when Nilson Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bethel Raba in the 12th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Cléber Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléber Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bethel Raba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfredo Breckenfeld got free with Rafinha Lara in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Siqueira came free, but Cléber Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Nilson Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elói Freire hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Manfredo Breckenfeld dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafinha Lara, 1-0. Renan Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Rafinha Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Sena. PREZULO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when João Sena scored to the left of an out of position Rafinha Lara, making the score, 3-0. Nilson Velascos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Rafinha Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PREZULO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Nilson Velasco scored to the left of an out of position Rafinha Lara, making the score, 4-0. Rafinha Lara was a little too slow when Manfredo Breckenfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bethel Raba managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bethel Raba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilson Velasco to make the kick off. Rafinha Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Clube do Remo MZ were awarded a corner. Durval Pitta went to the cornerflag to take it. Cléber Pinho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severino Secco. Franklin Garcia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cléber Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PREZULO FC. After 60 minutes, Nilson Velasco made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. PREZULO FC's Rafinha Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, PREZULO FC's Renan Mota got a free kick in the 66th minute. Cléber Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bethel Raba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Lara saved PREZULO FC from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Clube do Remo MZ's Nilson Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafinha Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 81 minutes into the game, Nilson Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Rafinha Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Clube do Remo MZ's Nilson Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafinha Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Lara saved PREZULO FC from getting behind. Renan Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Renan Mota hit a great ball. When Clube do Remo MZ's Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PREZULO FC's goalie prevented a goal. Clube do Remo MZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
