In the 8th minute Erling Halgand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Arce in the 10th minute of play forced Drim Tim's goalkeeper Norbert Rzegotka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match FÊNIX F.C. got a corner. Drim Tim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marquinhos Teixeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FÊNIX F.C.'s corner Marquinhos Teixeira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Norbert Rzegotka quite easily take care of the ball. Damian Fetor made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Pawel Ciempa sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Drim Tim's Radowit Chludzinski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damian Fetor. Damian Fetor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. FÊNIX F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Damião suffered a concussion after 23 minutes and had to leave the field. After 23 minutes, Norbert Birkenhagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drim Tim and the FÊNIX F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Drim Tim got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Birkenhagen. Genílson Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Pawel Ciempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Damian Fetor made a huge save. Mauro Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Rzegotka having to make a save. Drim Tim's Norbert Rzegotka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Arce in the 32nd minute of play. FÊNIX F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marquinhos Teixeira in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Bouchard in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Rzegotka saved Drim Tim from getting behind. Damian Fetor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Birkenhagen in the 46th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Pawel Ciempa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Damian Fetor to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Bouchard made a kick off. In the 54th minute, FÊNIX F.C.'s Mauro Luz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. FÊNIX F.C.'s Marcinho Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Kauã Moreno replaced Marquinhos Teixeira. Norbert Rzegotka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Luz in the 64th minute. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marcinho Arce hit a great ball. When Norbert Birkenhagen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. A collision led to Drim Tim getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Norbert Birkenhagen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Pawel Ciempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drim Tim's supporters rose to their feet, but Pawel Ciempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Fetor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Rzegotka had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Bengt Bouchard from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Norbert Rzegotka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Luz in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Ciempa in the 84th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Damian Fetor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FÊNIX F.C. booed when Drim Tim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiu Tian Kuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norbert Rzegotka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Norbert Rzegotka came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FÊNIX F.C.'s Mauro Luz. But to his dismay, Mauro Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mauro Luz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mauro Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Rzegotka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. Norbert Rzegotka made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mauro Luz sent off a good shot on target.
