Oscar Guerrero hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsamettin Refi came free, but Pedro Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüsamettin Refi to make the kick off. When Baldomiro Oliverios fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Oliverios a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaser Sıbgatullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Yaser Sıbgatullah took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Pedro Asur to make any attempt to save it. Ali Nabi Bedih scored 0-6 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Asur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pekin Yavuzalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Asur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Nabi Bedih's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the match was over Afyon İdman Yurdu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gaviotas FC throughout the match.
