Amerigo Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Enmanuel in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amerigo Taranto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Carlos Fernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Baciadonne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Enmanuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Taranto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Bartolomucci came free, but Amanda van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Baciadonne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amanda van der Sar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amerigo Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Monte in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Paulo Enmanuel made a precise shot to the right of Amerigo Taranto. FC Mims's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Enmanuel in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Taranto saved FC Mims from getting behind. After 45 minutes of play, Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amerigo Taranto was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Formentera's Blas Estevez was substituted for Fabio Monte. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Baciadonne made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Arturo Baciadonne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amanda van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Cresencio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Paulo Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Amerigo Taranto made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Paulo Enmanuel took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Amerigo Taranto to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goalkeeper Amerigo Taranto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Enmanuel. With a little luck, FC Mims's Amerigo Taranto got control of the ball when Paulo Enmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Baciadonne came free, but Amanda van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Enmanuel in the 81st minute of the match. FC Mims's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Paulo Enmanuel scored to the left of an out of position Amerigo Taranto, making the score, 0-6. After 86 minutes of play, Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amerigo Taranto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blas Estevez's late challenge caught a FC Mims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Estevez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Mims booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonello Bartolomucci took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amanda van der Sar. Amanda van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Paulo Enmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Amerigo Taranto made a huge save.
