The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Baciadonne got free with Erland Fågel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Momlinho's Erland Fågel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Momlinho from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Arturo Baciadonne made a precise shot to the right of Erland Fågel. FC Momlinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Carl Mellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Momlinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mims the free kick. Antonello Bartolomucci struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Erland Fågel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mims. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Baciadonne to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Momlinho defense, Antonello Bartolomucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erland Fågel. The FC Momlinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erland Fågel should have stopped the shot. Erland Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Baciadonne in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Baciadonne came free, but Erland Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Angelici kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Mims's Amerigo Taranto got control of the ball when Benito Camela tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Di Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erland Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Bartolomucci in the 94th minute of play.
