After 5 minutes, Alper Fırat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F-E-D-A and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Alper Fırat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Mims's Arturo Baciadonne got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amerigo Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Selim Işıner in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Işık Canay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amerigo Taranto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Umut Eker hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aşık Denizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Bartolomucci in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Baciadonne got free with Aşık Denizer in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Onuralp Bakır during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F-E-D-A's Murat Selim Işıner got a free kick in the 36th minute. Aşık Denizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Bartolomucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonello Bartolomucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Arturo Baciadonne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aşık Denizer. F-E-D-A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Baciadonne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Asım Sabancı made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hasan Eker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amerigo Taranto. That made the score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. Amerigo Taranto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kaan Kuddusi in the 56th minute of play. F-E-D-A's Aşık Denizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Bartolomucci in the 57th minute of play. Aşık Denizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Baciadonne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Baciadonne in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aşık Denizer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, F-E-D-A's Hasan Eker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amerigo Taranto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Işık Canay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Amerigo Taranto made a huge save. Aşık Denizer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Bartolomucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Ali Asım Sabancı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Amerigo Taranto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Işık Canay took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Amerigo Taranto to make any attempt to save it.
