The Falckner FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Fire Breathers FC defense, Octavio Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Sander. The Fire Breathers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Sander should have stopped the shot. André Sander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Gorosti in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes Fire Breathers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Domingo Gimenez who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Octavio Gorosti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 22nd minute, Txurio Cardigondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Gimenez. Caetano Reyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goizeder Parserises, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, one of Fire Breathers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fire Breathers FC. The referee gave Falckner FC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domingo Gimenez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fire Breathers FC's André Sander. 0-3. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper André Sander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venancio Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelemen Bouceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kelemen Bouceda came free, but Venancio Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Octavio Gorosti put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of André Sander. After 47 minutes of play, Fire Breathers FC's Txurio Cardigondi made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Rocendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Falckner FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Goizeder Parserises to strike the kick off in the second half. Venancio Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kelemen Bouceda in the 56th minute of play. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Goizeder Parserises sped through Falckner FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Venancio Rocendo. In the 63rd minute Octavio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Romildo Lombillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Goizeder Parserises mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Breathers FC and the Falckner FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Goizeder Parserises hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falckner FC's Prospero Kiliz was substituted for Eliseo Iratzeder. Goizeder Parserises hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Goizeder Parserises shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Weather Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Breathers FC's zone, Domingo Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Sander came out of the goal and Domingo Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gorosti came free, but André Sander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Octavio Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Gorosti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavio Gorosti's late challenge caught a Fire Breathers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Gorosti helped the player get up and apologised. Octavio Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Falckner FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
