With a little luck, C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara got control of the ball when Nunez Vincente tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Terremoto Xeneize's Pascual Bertin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Cordara. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Silverio Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Vincente in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Higinio Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Pascual Bertin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara. Silverio Cordara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Bentancur got free with Silverio Cordara in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorio Gervaso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Silverio Cordara made a huge save. In the 25th minute Higinio Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Vincente took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Cordara. Silverio Cordara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Silverio Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the C.A.Esparta defense, Pascual Bertin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Cordara. The C.A.Esparta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Cordara should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Astudillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Nunez Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Ivan Rocio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Silverio Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Vincente in the 57th minute of play. C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Procopio in the 58th minute of play. If Rodrigo Bentancur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Cordara came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto Xeneize's Pascual Bertin. But to his dismay, Pascual Bertin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Procopio in the 88th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Silverio Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Terremoto Xeneize were the better team. Terremoto Xeneize's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
