After 6 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Evarado. A collision led to Bårjåsnjárgga getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alan Lange hit a great ball. When Estudiantes de América's Lucio Tabb in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bårjåsnjárgga's goalie prevented a goal. Christer Larsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Tabb's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Tabb in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st match minute, Bårjåsnjárgga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlend Sakariassen to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes in the game Aureliano Ontiveros did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Stein Bolstad. In the 36th minute Alan Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bårjåsnjárgga's Christer Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Tabb in the 39th minute of play. Ezequiel Luke hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Ricardo Caton got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Tabb made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Tabb in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Larsson saved Bårjåsnjárgga from getting behind. Christer Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Tabb in the 58th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Myr came free, but Pascual Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Lucio Tabb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 72 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Lucio Tabb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lucio Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bårjåsnjárgga's Christer Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bårjåsnjárgga from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Oscar Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Tabb scored 0-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Larsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Luke in the 88th minute of the match. Bårjåsnjárgga were furious when Asgeir Phan was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Bårjåsnjárgga's Asgeir Phan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Melchor Evarado missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 93 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Christer Larsson right hand side. In the 97th minute, Lucio Tabb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Estudiantes de América's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
