In the 30th match minute, Grêmio Prudente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Laerte Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. FC Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laerte Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 38 minutes into the game, Laerte Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Arkadiusz Barniszke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Klement Gonsiewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fabiano Arantes was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute Elano Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Barniszke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Barniszke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Alcântara in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korneliusz Pawlak to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Korneliusz Pawlak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Elano Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Laerte Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Barniszke. The crowd rose to their feet as Elano Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arkadiusz Barniszke. That made the score 0-9 in the 69 minute of play. Arkadiusz Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Prudente's Nicolas Mendes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Barcelona. FC Barcelona's Arkadiusz Barniszke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Alcântara in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Bugajski in the 78th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Pawlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 94 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Alcântara came free, but Arkadiusz Barniszke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Barniszke was a little too slow when Renan Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Grêmio Prudente left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Barcelona.
