When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Reinaldo França sped through Club Puerto Quito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Conill. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Domingues during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Conill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Reinaldo França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johnny Conill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yoel Cerdeño charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yoel Cerdeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Yoel Cerdeño. In the 25thth minute of the game Robin Cabero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Dário Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes of play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Reinaldo França made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Conill was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Azpiazu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Yuri Pimenta's late challenge caught a Club Puerto Quito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Yuri Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Reinaldo França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Conill was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Reinaldo França slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Conill. That made the score 0-5 after 77 minutes of play. If Reinaldo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Reinaldo França who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Puerto Quito's Johnny Conill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Puerto Quito's Yoel Cerdeño suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 86 minutes into the game, Reinaldo França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Puerto Quito the free kick. Club Puerto Quito's Suscal Carmenes was substituted for Yoel Cerdeño. In the 88th match minute, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo França to maneuver through the defense. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
