Guaberto Rufio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Artuner having to make a save. Manchester United's Ali Artuner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Lorencio in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Daniz Keng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniz Keng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Victorino Milio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Victorino Milio got a free kick in the 12th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Afiq Nair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester United's Ali Artuner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Canor in the 16th minute of play. Manchester United were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after El Retorno de Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniz Keng took the corner. The corner ended in Daniz Keng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Canor in the 22nd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Ali Artuner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Artuner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Walme in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Afiq Nair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afiq Nair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alam Lee in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Olentzaro saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. In the 34th minute Manchester United were awarded a corner. Daniz Keng went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Manchester United's corner Daniz Keng fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Modesto Olentzaro quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Ramachandran in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Olentzaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Azam Chew sent off a good shot on target. El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Azam Chew 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Modesto Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Ramachandran in the 40th minute of the match. Bryan Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Olentzaro having to interfere. Modesto Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Azam Chew sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Omar Canor. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Azam Chew sped through El Retorno de Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azam Chew to make the kick off. Modesto Olentzaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Chew in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Azam Chew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afiq Nair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Nunez Walme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ali Artuner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Alam Lee fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Alam Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Alam Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Hilario Mikeldi got a free kick in the 74th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Lee in the 81st minute of play. Daniz Keng scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Olentzaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azam Chew in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Olentzaro saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Chew in the 95th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Daniz Keng put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
