The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zühtü İleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Björkman in the 6th minute of play. Zühtü İleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Pedersson in the 7th minute of the match. Zühtü İleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Pedersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sedat Kayrahan during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sedat Kayrahan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Zühtü İleri was a little too slow when Peter Björkman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as David Pedersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zühtü İleri. That made the score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Zühtü İleri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Björkman's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to Dejavu getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ahmet Refik Uğuralp hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristoffer Billing got free with Zühtü İleri in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, FC Blueskatterna's Kristoffer Billing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zühtü İleri. Zühtü İleri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. FC Blueskatterna's David Pedersson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zühtü İleri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Pedersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Björkman made a kick off. Zühtü İleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Rudkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Peter Björkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zühtü İleri was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Zühtü İleri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. 88 minutes into the game, David Pedersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Zühtü İleri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Rudkvist in the 95th minute of play forced Dejavu's goalkeeper Zühtü İleri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Blueskatterna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
