The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Denis Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Mística Pincharrata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Tohias couldn't finish the play. The supporters of A.S. Trastevere booed when Mística Pincharrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Gillan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Sazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Konieczny in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, A.S. Trastevere's Emiliano Mannucci got control of the ball when Zacarias Nuno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mística Pincharrata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armin De Zorzi was slow to take the kick. During this time A.S. Trastevere's players had a chance to rest. The corner led A.S. Trastevere's Armin De Zorzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilfredo Sazon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mística Pincharrata's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Pugliese came free, but Wilfredo Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A.S. Trastevere booed when Mística Pincharrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mística Pincharrata's Wilfredo Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Pugliese in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, A.S. Trastevere's Felice Raiola made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Sazon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 minutes Mística Pincharrata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armin De Zorzi who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Marcin Konieczny put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilfredo Sazon. Wilfredo Sazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Raiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mística Pincharrata's Wilfredo Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Raiola in the 39th minute of play. Emiliano Mannucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Nuno in the 40th minute. Laureano Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Ebardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Mannucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Ebardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Nuno to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Mística Pincharrata defense, Felice Raiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Sazon. The Mística Pincharrata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Sazon should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Mística Pincharrata's goalkeeper Wilfredo Sazon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Pugliese. Wilfredo Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Konieczny in the 59th minute of play. Emiliano Mannucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Tohias in the 60th minute of play. Emiliano Mannucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to A.S. Trastevere getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcin Konieczny hit a great ball. Trastevere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin De Zorzi to maneuver through the defense. Felice Raiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Sazon having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Laureano Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Sazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Konieczny, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Marcin Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonello Picciano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilfredo Sazon came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonello Picciano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 88th minute.
