The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adan Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Balnearia's Leon Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adan Bembe was a little too slow when Leon Mino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Villa La Perla defense, Leon Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Bembe. The Villa La Perla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Bembe should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Evaristo Lore in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villa La Perla's Jesus Perpinya. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Sixto Felipo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Leon Mino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Amadeo Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Villa La Perla's Ignacio Orlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Enaut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th minute Ignacio Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes C. A. Balnearia got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Omero. Severino Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Roland in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Orlo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, C. A. Balnearia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 55thth minute of the game Leon Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of C. A. Balnearia booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Serapio. After 91 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Goyo. 96 minutes into the match, C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Severino Enaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Playo. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Villa La Perla players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
