Kauã Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ralondo in the 12th minute of the match. Agnaldo Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Kauã Sarmento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Ralondo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauã Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores FC's zone, Sixto Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Sarmento came out of the goal and Sixto Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Aytuğ Erdursun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauã Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.

In the 52nd minute Matadores FC were awarded a corner. Laércio Guedes went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davi Meireles got free with Fernando Ruisko in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ralondo in the 56th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Francisco Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sixto Vincent took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Sarmento. Kauã Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Kauã Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matadores FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Millo de Haedo.
