The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viola Invest's Mădălin Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel van Beek in the 3rd minute of play. When FC Dream Team's Elias Palhares in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Dream Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Palhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Bănățeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viola Invest were furious when Rareș Spârlea was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rareș Spârlea hit a great ball. Mădălin Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Macena in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dream Team's Eliseu Lencastre got a free kick in the 17th minute. Flavius Izbașa's late challenge caught a FC Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavius Izbașa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Flavius Izbașa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. FC Dream Team's Elias Palhares got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Viola Invest were awarded a corner. Flavius Izbașa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Flavius Izbașa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonel Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

In the 51st minute Manuel Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Bănățeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Bănățeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mădălin Bănățeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Palhares in the 53rd minute. Elias Palhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mădălin Bănățeanu having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pacheco came free, but Mădălin Bănățeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Bănățeanu made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Elias Palhares sent off a good shot on target. Viola Invest's Mădălin Bănățeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Viola Invest from getting a goal against them. Mădălin Bănățeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Palhares went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leonardo Macena hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Viola Invest's Marcu Vlas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pacheco came free, but Mădălin Bănățeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasile Soare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Dream Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
