After 17 minutes of play, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Fausto Senna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdomiro Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aírton Bueno hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s goalkeeper Caco Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Reis. Wilson de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elivélton Pombal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. OLIMPIA SP's Valdomiro Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Senna in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Fausto Senna put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Valdomiro Barbosa. If Hortêncio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Fausto Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Fausto Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. OLIMPIA SP's Zé Paulo da Fonseca was substituted for Gugu Vale. Rey Puyol hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliézer Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Zé Paulo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Senna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdomiro Barbosa. That made the score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Osvaldo Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Reis's late challenge caught a PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Lúcio Reis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd match minute, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Senna in the 88th minute of play forced OLIMPIA SP's goalkeeper Valdomiro Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLIMPIA SP's goalkeeper Valdomiro Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliézer Teixeira took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caco Couto. Caco Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Eliézer Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the OLIMPIA SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Teixeira couldn't finish the play. Although OLIMPIA SP had been in control for most of the match, PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- still came away with the win.
