But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Paes couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Dé Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 麦凌桑. 麦凌桑 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Várzea F.C.'s 麦凌桑 threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Montenegro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute, 康枫坚 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joaquim Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Várzea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 麦凌桑 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Marques got free with 麦凌桑 in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 麦凌桑 came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Várzea F.C.'s Dé Montenegro. But to his dismay, Dé Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dé Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 麦凌桑 having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 麦凌桑. 麦凌桑 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 46 minutes into the match, 马踏东京赏樱花，目光所致皆为华夏's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Paes came free, but 麦凌桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 麦凌桑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dé Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 麦凌桑 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Montenegro in the 51st minute of play. Várzea F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
